Since childhood, my right ear had been weak. I could not use it to answer the phone, and when my wife called me, I often could not hear her clearly. When I went to the hospital, the diagnosis was that there was no cure. So, I lived with this condition for more than 30 years. During the Manmin Summer Retreat in August, I earnestly longed to be healed. For seven days I fasted one meal each morning, listened to The Message of the Cross, and reflected on myself. I also attended every Daniel Prayer Meeting without fail, repenting and praying earnestly.
On August 4, at the Opening Service of the Retreat, as soon as I sat down, tears of grace began to flow uncontrollably. Later that evening, after Pastor Soojin Lee’s message, when she offered the prayer for the sick, I received it with all my heart.
After the prayer, I covered one ear to test it?and something amazing happened. My wife, who was sitting next to me, asked, “Why do you keep covering your ear? Were you healed?” At that moment, I clearly heard her voice. I confessed to her with joy, “Yes, I was healed.” Hallelujah!
Now I can clearly hear when speaking on the phone, and conversations flow smoothly. I give all thanks and glory to God who restored the hearing that I had lost for 30 years.
